The Bargello Museum is the National Sculpture Gallery of Florence and houses what is arguably the world's greatest collection of Renaissance sculptures. Join me for this video lecture where we will examine the history of the 13th-century building that houses the collection, the Competition Panels by Lorenzo Ghiberti and Filippo Brunelleschi, and various sculptures by the great Donatello, including his magnificent marble and bronze statues of David and his majestic statue of St. George.
