Wanted for murder in Rome and assault and insubordination in Malta, a desperate Caravaggio sought the help of an old friend in Sicily. Over the next year, he would visit Siracusa, Messina and possibly Palermo and produce three of his most powerful paintings – “The Burial of St. Lucy,” “The Raising of Lazarus,” and “The Adoration of the Shepherds.” Join Dr. Rocky for this webinar where we will follow the footsteps of Caravaggio to Sicily and examine his beautiful paintings.
